Here's a secret: I've been using the extreme energy of the planetary transits this year to harness my healing process while heightening my success around Rituals. I've been using my astrology to compartmentalize how I heal and strategize how I plan to best move through a world that's on fucking fire.

There are some major once in a lifetime planetary transits happening right now to shift our path as a global society. Let's take the first notable transit of Pluto into Aquarius back in November 2024. First, we look at the themes around where Pluto was pre-transit: in the sign of Capricorn from 2008 - 2024. Pluto itself is a transformative planet that challenges hierarchies and outdated structures. When it was in Capricorn, it shed some light on problematic authority and discipline: foundations that were built by our parents & grandparents, namely the baby boomer generation. What value systems did they put into place and how are those systems unsustainable & stagnant? This transit took a shrewd look at these infrastructures, both from an Individualistic and corporation level, and asked the question, what's the long term effect for future generations?

We may have seen this most highlighted with the moralistic Issues with technology and AI, as well as an emphasis on science sounding the alarm on climate change. As a society, we began moving away from pop culture and assimilating to what the media was force-feeding us. We sought out & celebrated Individualism. Christian churches & the Vatican saw a sharp drop In participation, as their gleaming facade was tarnished by pediphile priests, greedy pastors with their $1000 sneakers and the surfacing of "pray the gay/trans away" camps.

On the flip, we saw social progress happen during this time: gay marriage was legalized in the US and several countries around the world, the emphasis on inclusivity for women and people of color in business, and more open connection in the virtual world. As much as I hate to say it, the launch of TikTok in 2016 broke the mold on how we receive news and share knowledge. Our governments & corporations could no longer control & censor our flow of information, as the veil was lifted. #WitchTok

Put even more simply, think of what COVID did for all of us in 2019 - it stopped the world, scared the shit out of us and made us realize as a collective what was important. We lost people we loved, we mourned lifestyles, we missed basic human connection like giving & receiving hugs. It slowed down our feeling of infinite mortality and reminded us of our vulnerability. And we made tough choices for survival and for our own personal joy.

All of that said, now we're fully in the Pluto transit into Aquarius, where we'll be until March 2043. You may notice that there's kind of a choke in the forward momentum around .... well, everything. Democracies are being dismantled with the threat of authoritarianism, the alt right Christian contingency oddly gained a new foothold, vulnerable populations are being 'disappeared,' and the rights of women, queer folk and people of color are being both erased and revoked.

It's meant to happen this way, as much as I hate to say it. Because at the heart of Pluto entering Aquarius is social reform, global collaboration and an emphasis of humanitarianism. We are meant to take off our masks, reveal our authenticity and work WITH each other.

Being more specific about how this applies to YOU: If, for any reason, you have been holding off on therapy or healing super unhealthy patterns, this Is the time to release It all and HEAL. You're not meant to sit In your trauma and drag others around you through your patterns, In the way we've been taught to do or shown by prior generations. More and more people are stepping away from their family structures for this very reason, because they refuse to partake in unhealthy and codependent behavior patterns. Children of emotionally immature parents now hold stronger boundaries and biting your tongue around a racist, bigoted relative is no longer abided. This current Pluto transit suggests that you face all of your Shadows wholeheartedly. Not just because you need to heal, but because the literal fate of the world depends on it.

Why? Because there is no longer a focus on individualism in this transit - if you're doing it right, your focus is on a spiritual path that will allow you to help others. Start paying attention to what social Injustices really trigger you and where your trigger point lies. What are you willing to do or say about It? And how does this Impact the way you move In the world?

The sign of Aquarius is all about paradigm shifts and evolved human awareness. It's ingenuity and community combined. It's about the resurgence of interconnectedness. Aquarius is all about enlightenment and the quest for knowledge - knowing that we are connected to the planet. Pulling focus away from the political world being a dumpster fire, we are also experiencing unprecedented climate change and extreme weather patterns. Mother Earth Is letting us know that our time for fuckery Is done. We are now to co-exist together and with the planet.
